Steins;Gate 0

This page contains spoilers for Steins;Gate.

Steins;Gate 0 is the fifth game in Science Adventure series, and an interquel to Steins;Gate. This title was initially released in 2015 for Japanese audiences.

This story details the future of the Okabe who refused to go back in time and try to save Kurisu again. The game is directly related to Steins;Gate, because it explains the events that made the true ending of the original story possible.

Steins;Gate 0 employs the perspectives of a few of the characters, including Okabe, Suzuha, and a new character, Maho Hiyajo.

After meeting Maho and her professor, Alexis Leskinen, Okabe is invited to become a tester for an artificial intelligence system called “Amadeus.” Amadeus was developed by the late Kurisu Makise, and contains all of her memories prior to meeting Okabe for the first time.

Okabe’s struggles are not over yet, as the impending World War III continues to cause many worldline shenanigans. It seems that Okabe will have to rise up once again in order to restore peace to his world.

Rintaro Okabe

Okabe returns as the protagonist of Steins;Gate 0. His personality has become much more subdued and normal, as he attempts to suppress his memories of the summer.

Luka Urushibara

Luka can sense the shift in Okabe’s behavior, and he understands that the rest of the cast is hiding a dark secret from him. Nevertheless, he continues to do his best to help his friends in any way.
