A member of the community will be visiting Spike Chunsoft’s California office tomorrow for a special stream!
Spike Chunsoft has granted us permission to list some highlights of the upcoming stream. Most notably, SciADV producer Tatsuya Matsubara will deliver a video message, and CINEPRESTO will deliver a special performance.
In July 2018, we reported that Spike Chunsoft would be hosting a Steins;Gate talent show at Anime Expo 2018. A variety of courageous lab members stepped up to the challenge, but one spirited performer proved that he had what it took to be the best of the best.
Preston Yeung, also known as CINEPRESTO, delivered the first prize winning presentation in July, and it can be viewed below. His performance in the Hououin Kyouma persona was passionate, and truly exceptional.
Having worked with CINEPRESTO on various projects, I can vouch for him being a talented performer and a devoted fan of the series. Mr. Yeung cares deeply about Steins;Gate and the Science Adventure series, and he has worked very hard to spread the word about the series in the West.
As the winner of the talent show, Mr. Yeung will have the opportunity to visit Spike Chunsoft’s California headquarters tomorrow! While there, he will receive a tour of the headquarters and will appear on Spike Chunsoft’s livestream, which is scheduled to start at 6 PM Pacific Daylight Time. This livestream will coincide with Okabe Rintaro’s birthday, and will be held in commemoration of that occasion.
