Not to be confused with Variant Space Octet, 8-Bit ADV is a retro-styled Steins;Gate side story based on the prompt, “What if Steins;Gate was created in the ’80s?” The game allows you to explore an 8-bit version of Akihabara as Okabe while interacting with other Steins;Gate characters. This game is included with Nintendo Switch copies of Steins;Gate Elite.

A new remake of the original Steins;Gate visual novel, Steins;Gate RE:BOOT, is in development and is expected to release in 2026. According to details shared by Famitsu, Re:Boot will build upon the foundation that the original Steins;Gate established while introducing redone graphics by original artist huke. Story additions are also planned for this remake.
