A new key visual for Memories Off Sousou: Break Out of My Shell, the upcoming fandisc follow-up to the ninth Memories Off title, has been revealed today via MAGES. Check it out below, alongside the initial key visual revealed in September:
The Memories Off series’s fandiscs are typically lighthearted epilogue stories, which makes this grittier reveal all the more surprising—but perhaps not unexpected, given some darker content matter featured in the original Memories Off Sousou. We’re looking forward to seeing how Break Out of My Shell will follow up on loose ends left to be explored from the original story.
The characters featured in this new visual are largely familiar from the original game, though some fans have speculated that the rightmost figure’s identity is “Toby,” a prominent character from the series’s third and fourth entries previously voiced by none other than MAGES. executive producer Chiyomaru Shikura.
MAGES. has confirmed plans to reveal more about the title in December, and we will strive to keep you updated as more information becomes available.
