Last update: 1 August 2026
Kiri Kiri Basara is run by fans of the Science Adventure series, and we would like for the discussion areas beneath our articles to be welcoming places where readers can share their thoughts, theories, experiences, and enthusiasm for the series.
These guidelines explain what we expect from all users participating in KKB article discussions. By creating an account or posting a comment, you agree to follow them.
Table of Contents
1. Treat other community members with respect
Disagreement is completely fine, but personal attacks are not.
You are welcome to challenge other users’ interpretations, theories, or opinions, but please focus on the subject being discussed rather than the person posting it.
Do not post:
- Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse
- Insults or personal attacks
- Discriminatory or hateful content
- Threats or encouragement of violence
- Deliberately inflammatory comments intended to provoke other users
- Avoid repeated unwanted interactions with other community members
Strong opinions about Science Adventure titles are expected, but hostility toward other fans is not.
2. Keep discussions relevant and constructive
Comments should generally relate to the article, the subject being discussed, or the wider Science Adventure series.
Related conversations and friendly tangents are welcome, but please avoid repeatedly derailing discussions or posting content with no meaningful connection to the article.
Comments consisting primarily of spam, repeated promotional messages, unrelated links, or attempts to manipulate discussion may be removed.
Constructive criticism of KKB articles and videos is welcome. We appreciate corrections and differing perspectives, provided they are communicated respectfully.
3. Use spoiler protection
Science Adventure stories depend heavily on mystery, discovery, and unexpected developments. Please help preserve that experience for other readers.
When your comment contains significant story details, use the **spoiler option** before posting. The entire comment will then remain hidden behind a spoiler warning until a reader chooses to reveal it.
Spoiler protection should be used for:
- Major plot developments
- Character identities or motivations
- Ending and route outcomes
- Important twists or revelations
- Nonobvious or later-game connections between different Science Adventure titles
- Information from untranslated or newly released material that readers may not reasonably expect to encounter
This applies to both new comments and replies.
Please consider the context of the article. A comment may not require protection when discussing information already clearly covered by the article, but we encourage you to err on the side of caution.
Deliberately posting unmarked spoilers, especially with the intention of ruining another person’s experience, will result in the comment being removed and further moderation action being taken.
4. Do not post illegal, harmful, or inappropriate material
The following content is not permitted:
- Illegal content or instructions facilitating illegal activity
- Malware, phishing links, or other malicious material
- Explicit sexual content
- Graphic violent content without a legitimate discussion-related reason
- Private or personally identifying information belonging to another person
- Content encouraging self-harm or harm to others
- Copyrighted material reproduced extensively without permission
- Attempts to obtain passwords, account information, or other private data
Brief quotations and links may be used when they contribute meaningfully to a discussion, but please respect the work of creators, translators, journalists, and other community members.
5. Do not impersonate others
Your KKB username is displayed publicly alongside your comments.
Do not use a username, profile picture, or other account information intended to impersonate:
- KKB staff members
- Guest authors or contributors
- Other community members
- Developers, publishers, voice actors, or other public figures
- Official organizations or brands
Parody accounts must be clearly identifiable as parody and must not be used deceptively.
Usernames and profile pictures must also follow the same standards as comments. Offensive, hateful, explicit, or deliberately disruptive account information may be removed or changed.
6. Protect your account
You are responsible for activity performed through your KKB account.
Do not share your password or allow another person to use your account. KKB staff will never ask you to provide your password.
Account emails are used privately for account administration, verification, and supported KKB Community features. Your email address is not displayed publicly with your comments.
Please contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

7. Community badges
Some accounts may display badges alongside their comments.
The Staff badge identifies eligible members of the KKB editorial team. Guest authors do not automatically receive this badge.
The Patron badge identifies an active paid KKB Patreon supporter whose Patreon membership has been successfully matched with their KKB account.
Badges are assigned automatically or administratively. Users may not imitate, reproduce, or falsely claim an official KKB Community badge.
Patreon matching is based on the email address associated with both accounts. A badge may disappear when a membership becomes inactive, when the email addresses do not match, or while membership information is awaiting synchronization.
Badges recognize a user’s relationship with KKB, but they do not give their comments greater authority or exempt them from these guidelines.
8. Moderation
KKB staff members moderate article discussions to keep them welcoming, relevant, and safe.
Depending on the situation, moderation may include:
- Collapsing or removing a comment
- Editing content when necessary for moderation or technical reasons
- Asking a user to change their behavior
- Restricting an account’s ability to participate
- Suspending or permanently ending access to KKB Community features
Moderation decisions may consider the seriousness of the ill behavior, whether it was intentional, whether it has happened repeatedly, and its effect on other community members.
Severe violations may result in immediate action without a prior warning.
Creating another account to avoid a restriction or suspension is not permitted.
KKB may also close comments on individual articles or temporarily disable commenting across the website when necessary.
9. Account deletion and existing comments
Regular KKB Community members can permanently delete their account through the accountmanagement page after confirming their password.
Deleting an account removes its associated email address, account connection, and custom profile picture. We do not store this data past the deletion.
Comments posted before deletion are retained so that existing discussions remain understandable. These comments are anonymized and displayed as having been posted by **Deleted user**.
Deleting an account therefore does not automatically remove its previous comments.
You may contact KKB before deleting your account when you believe a specific comment contains personal information or should be reviewed separately.
10. Reporting concerns
The current version of the KKB Community does not include a public comment-reporting button.
When you encounter a comment that appears to violate these guidelines, please contact the KKB staff members via [email protected] and include:
- A link to the relevant article
- The username associated with the comment
- A brief explanation of the concern
Please do not start a public confrontation or repeatedly reply to the offending comment. Instead, allow the moderation team to conduct their review.
11. Good-faith participation
Not every incorrect statement, unpopular opinion, or awkwardly worded comment is a guidelines violation.
We ask community members to assume good faith where reasonable and to give others room to clarify mistakes. Science Adventure discussions often involve complicated timelines, translations, adaptations, and interpretations, and users will occasionally remember details differently.
12. Changes to these guidelines
KKB Community will continue to add features, and these guidelines may be updated as new features are introduced or moderation requires change.
The latest version will always be published on Kiri Kiri Basara. Continued use of KKB Community after an update entails your agreement to follow the revised guidelines.
Thank you for helping us create a community worthy of the Science Adventure series.
Whether you’re here to analyze world lines, defend your favorite entry, share a new theory, or simply talk to other fans, we hope you enjoy being part of KKB Community.
