Via the official website, Memories Off Sousou: Break Out of My Shell, the upcoming fandisc follow-up to the ninth Memories Off title, will officially launch on April 9, 2026 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, and PC via Steam. View the newly revealed opening movie below:
Release details
Break Out of My Shell has been confirmed for a simultaneous Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, and PC via Steam. The following editions and prices have been confirmed:
- Standard download edition: 7,480 yen
- Standard physical edition: 8,580 yen
- Double Pack edition (Memories Off 9 main game and fandisc): 10,780 yen
- Digital deluxe edition: 11,000 yen
- Limited edition: 12,100 yen
- Super-limited edition (with ticket for commemorative event livestream): 49,500 yen
- Super-limited edition (with ticket for commemorative event physical attendance): 55,000 yen
- Super-limited edition (with ticket for commemorative event physical attendance and merchandise): 66,000 yen
Players who purchase any edition of the fandisc during an initial purchase period will receive a bonus game titled “Memories Off: Koi-Koi Wars” as an additional bonus; this game, played between Sousou characters with hanafuda cards, will also feature bonus unlockable short stories connected to each character.

Commemorative event
Depending on the limited edition tier purchased, players will also be able to attend a special event commemorating the conclusion of the Memories Off series’s 25th anniversary.
