Today, we are exploring Kichijoji, the central location of Occultic;Nine, the place of the 256 Incident, and the home of Yuta Gamon, the creator of the in-universe Kiri Kiri Basara.
Kichijoji is a residential and commercial are in western Tokyo, in the Musashino district, widely regarded as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods. It offers a slower, more everyday side of Tokyo, without losing its charm or character.

Locations
Kichijoji Station
Main entry point to Kichijoji. Served by the Chūō Line, the Chūō-Sōbu Line, and the Keio Inokashira Line, the station is connected well with the center Tokyo.
Inokashira Park
Featured many times in the anime, mostly known as the park where the 256 incident occurs.
Walk about 400 meters south from the station
Daiseji temple
Used as a morgue for the victims of 256 incident. Located on eastern section of the Inokashira park
Sunroad shopping district
Famous shopping center in Kichijoji. Featured few times in the anime. Leave the station by its north exit
Cafebar BlooMoon
A restaurant that Yuta Gamon frequents.
Walk 250 meters east of the Kichijoji station.
Kichijoji Park
Park in which Yuta first meets Ryotasu. Located about 350 meters northeast from the Kichijoji station.
Musashino Schichiman shrine
Place where Yuta first meets Sarai. Next to it is Anyoji temple, which is the location of Hashigami’s funeral. Located 700 meters north from Kichijoji station.
Yuta’s house
Home of Yuta Gamon. Located on Seikeidori Avenue, near Honmachi Yonchome bus stop.
FM-KCZ
Radio operated by Yuta’s house father. The building does not exist in real life, but it’s located on a parking lot. Located just 100 meters east from Yuta’s home.
Seikei High School
School which most of the cast attends, and is called Seimei High School in the anime.
About 1 kilometer northwest from Kichijoji station.
An-meiji Temple
Location of the kotoribako scene in episode 6. Next to the temple is a side street in which Chizuru’s home is and where she was murdered. If you walk to the temple, there also is the 250 kg bomb, a shell of a bomb which fell onto the shrine during WW2.
Located next to Daigo Shogakko bus stop.
US Fuchu Air Station
Location of the Odd-eye base from the anime’s ending.
Located in Fuchu, about 1 kilometers north from Higashi-fuchū Station
MuMu Editorial Office
In episode 3 of the anime, we see the building in which the MuMu editorial office is, and it is shown as this skyscraper in Gotanda.
Located 300 meters west from Gotanda station.
