MAGES. to host Chaos; art exhibit booth at Comiket 99, new Anonymous;Code images to be shown

As announced on December 14, 2021, MAGES. intends to host a Chaos; series-focused art exhibit booth at Japan’s Comiket 99, on December 30 and 31. Notably, it seems yet-unreleased images from Anonymous;Code will also be shown at this event.

The event’s official page suggests that the exhibition space will have a modern air to it, much like that of an elegant art museum—it further notes that MAGES. has not hosted a SciADV-related booth of this level of quality before. Visitors to this booth will be able to peruse the showcased artwork at their own pace, scan attached QR codes to read relevant commentary, and even take commemorative photos.

The event has been entitled “LOOPSL,” with a subtitle in stilted French that translates to, “Close the world-layer (loop).” In an aside, the page calls back to a significant quote from Steins;Gate, stating that the event’s title “doesn’t really mean anything,” i.e., it has no particular significance.

Last but not least, the page suggests that if a visitor were to meticulously examine each QR code commentary blurb at the event, they might discover something new. What this “something new” is, exactly, is not yet known.

We will keep you updated as more information arises on this exhibit and other SciADV news.
