Twipo enters the real world with this Robotics;Notes Elite mod

“Man, Twitter nowadays is pretty lame. What’s up with all these bots and weirdos? I wish we could go back to how things were a few years ago…”

If you’ve ever found yourself thinking this, never fear—redoste’s twipo-synchro project is here to help! Sort of.

If you’ve ever played Robotics;Notes Elite, you know that one of the game’s unique features is Twipo, an in-game knockoff of Twitter where you can read fictional tweets—sorry, tweeps—posted by the game’s characters.

Redoste’s twipo-synchro project takes things a step further: it syncs up with your game to allow you to read and reply to in-game tweeps on your own phone or device, as though Kaito’s feed is your own. Neat!

The latest version of twipo-synchro can be downloaded here. Per the project’s readme, you’ll need to be playing Robotics;Notes Elite on PC with the latest version of the Committee of Zero’s improvement patch installed. Installation and usage instructions for twipo-synchro are also included.

So, how about it? Ready to abandon the real world and argue with Aki about super robots versus real robots? I sure wish I could…
