MAGES. horror title Seeker Eye launches this winter in Japan

A new trailer has been shared for MAGES.’ upcoming occult–suspense visual novel Seeker Eye, which we now know is expected to launch this winter for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. View the trailer below:

A number of key Science Adventure series staff members are expected to participate in Seeker Eye’s development, listed below:

  • Planner and original concept: Fumihiro Kitahara (SciADV series art director)
  • Scenario writer: Toru Yasumoto (Steins;Gate 0, Robotics;Notes DaSH scenario writer)
  • Composer: Takeshi Abo (SciADV series lead composer)
  • Project supervisor: Tatsuya Matsubara (SciADV series producer)
  • Project supervisor: Naotaka Hayashi (Chaos;Head, Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes scenario writer)

In their description of the game, MAGES. positions Seeker Eye as antithetical to the science- and logic-based SciADV series, additionally suggesting it “defies scientific explanation.” Curiously, the developer also claims that this supernatural tale will ensnare not only the game’s characters, but the players themselves.

We will strive to keep you updated on this upcoming release. For more non-SciADV news, check out our dedicated category.
