Rocket Panda Games acquires Phantom Breaker IP, announces new project

As announced today via their website, Rocket Panda Games has officially acquired the Phantom Breaker IP from its previous owners, MAGES. The company has additionally announced a new project in the series—though details are currently sparse. Check out the full announcement here.

Although not directly tied to the Science Adventure series, the Phantom Breaker series is notable for its inclusion of SciADV characters as guests; Rimi Sakihata and Kurisu Makise, for instance, were featured as playable fighters in the recent Phantom Breaker: Omnia.

Rocket Panda Games additionally intends to host a panel at the upcoming Anime Expo 2022, wherein it is likely this acquisition and new project will be discussed in some capacity.

We will strive to keep you updated as more information arises on the future of Phantom Breaker.
