Publisher and developer Rocket Panda Games has announced today a brand-new remaster of the classic 2013 side-scrolling beat ’em up, Phantom Breaker Battle Grounds. Boasting enhanced visuals, improved gameplay mechanics, and other additions, fans of the Science Adventure series may also be pleased to hear that Steins;Gate’s Kurisu Makise and Robotics;Notes’ Frau Koujiro will also be featured as playable guest characters.
Phantom Breaker Battle Grounds Ultimate is expected to launch in 2024 for Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, and PC via Epic Games Store. For more details, an official website and announcement blogpost are available.
