Steins;Gate live action series “still in production,” confirms SciADV producer

Confirmed today by CBR via an interview with Science Adventure series producer Tatsuya Matsubara, Steins;Gate’s previously announced Hollywood live action series is still in production. Read his response below:

Interviewer: Is the Steins;Gate Live Action Series still in production? If so, and if you're allowed to talk about it like, what can fans expect to see in terms of their favorite characters from the game coming to life in live action?

Matsubara: All I can say is, yes, it is still in production, but I can't reveal any details at this time.

A Steins;Gate Hollywood live action series was first confirmed in early 2020 as part of the game’s tenth anniversary celebrations. Since then, MAGES. staff have briefly discussed their thoughts on the series, but hard details on the production have yet to surface.
