Few months ago, we reported on Steins;Gate collaboration with Union Arena, a crossover trading card game published by Bandai that brings together characters and worlds from a wide variety of franchises into a single competitive card game. At the time, details about the cards, featured characters, and release date had yet to be revealed.
However today, it was announced that the dedicated Steins;Gate booster pack will release in Japan on October 16, 2026, featuring original illustrations, foil-stamped autograph cards from the game’s voice cast, and a limited-edition card campaign.
The booster pack brings Steins;Gate features eight characters: Rintaro Okabe, Mayuri Shiina, Itaru Hashida, Kurisu Makise, Moeka Kiryu, Ruka Urushibara, Faris NyanNyan, and Suzuha Amane. It will also include numerous brand-new original illustrations created specifically for the product.
One of the set’s highlights is a collection of foil-stamped autograph cards featuring signatures from the Japanese voice cast of the Steins;Gate anime. The booster packs will also feature a special campaign for limited Action Point cards with individual serial numbers. These cards will be included at an extremely low rate and in limited quantities, with the cast’s handwritten signatures planned for the cards.
The Steins;Gate Union Arena booster pack will launch in Japan on October 16, 2026, with a suggested retail price of 385 yen per pack, including tax. Each booster pack contains eight randomly selected cards, while each box contains 16 packs. Parallel cards will also be included in the set. As with other trading card products, the cards are randomly distributed, so obtaining a specific card is not guaranteed.
