Phantom Breaker Omnia, featuring Rimi Sakihata, Kurisu Makise, to release in 2021

A remake of the 2013 MAGES. fighting game Phantom Breaker Extra has been announced—Phantom Breaker Omnia is a brand new, revamped version of Extra that will be releasing in 2021 through brand-new publisher Rocket Panda Games. This version of the game has been retuned and rebalanced, and it will also feature remixed tracks from Extra, with the original music also being usable.

Notably, this game will feature Rimi Sakihata (Chaos;Head) and Kurisu Makise (Steins;Gate) as playable fighters. In addition to all characters from Extra returning, it has also been announced that Omnia will feature two new characters created for the game.

Omnia will feature an English dub in addition to its original Japanese voices. Carrie Savage, voice of Rimi Sakihata in the Chaos;Head anime’s English dub, will reprise her role, as will Trina Nishimura (Steins;Gate anime dub) with Kurisu Makise.

The game is expected to release on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It has been announced that physical versions of the game will also be produced in collaboration with Limited Run Games, who previously produced physical copies of Phantom Breaker Battle Grounds.
