We’ve decided to round-up some minor SciADV news into a single article for reader convenience. Today, I’ll cover two recent pieces of news, as well as a general reminder of an upcoming event.
Chaos;Head 10th anniversary teased
Fumihiro Kitahara, an art director and designer at MAGES., has made two tweets teasing a possible tenth anniversary celebration for Chaos;Head. Chaos;Head initially released on April 25, 2008 in Japan.
Please keep in mind that a tenth anniversary project has not been officially announced, though it is reasonable to assume that something tenth anniversary related is in the works. According to Kitahara, the images that are shown below will be used in the production of tenth anniversary goods.

According to the tweets, a logo for the anniversary (shown on the left) and a background design for goods (shown on the right) have been created thus far.
What’s interesting to note is the usage of Sumo Stickers in the second image. Sumo Stickers of unknown origins began to show up in several locations throughout Japan in 2009, about one year after the release of the original Chaos;Head. As such, Sumo Stickers are never mentioned in Chaos;Head, or in Chaos;Head Noah. In Chaos;Child, Sumo Stickers play a major role in the plot, so it’ll be interesting to see how the stickers will be used in relation to Chaos;Head.

Steins;Gate 0 episode 14 delayed

According to the official Steins;Gate anime Twitter account, the airing of Steins;Gate 0’s 14th episode will be delayed to July 18, rather than airing on July 11 as originally planned. Episode 13 will still be aired on July 4.
Anime Expo 2018 reminder
Just a reminder that Anime Expo 2018 will be starting on July 5, 2018 (three days from now).
Spike Chunsoft’s Steins;Gate panel will begin at 11 PM Pacific Standard Time on July 5.
The description of the event reads: “Spike Chunsoft partnered up with MAGES./5pb. to bring STEINS;GATE ELITE to the West for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam! Sit down with the team as they talk all things STEINS;GATE and Science Adventure.“
In addition to the team talking about Steins;Gate Elite, it seems likely that a Science Adventure title in some form will be announced. We will be reporting on any new information gained from the panel, so stay tuned.
