The following article contains spoilers for Steins;Gate.

Vague teasers for what may be an upcoming announcement related to the tenth anniversary of Steins;Gate have been appearing online over the last day.

The first of these teasers was the appearance of a “John Titor” Twitter account. The account’s tweets consist of “John Titor” explaining that they have time traveled here from 2036 with the goal of preventing World War 3, which was supposedly caused because Mayuri Shiina obtained a Metal Upa. Titor asks that everyone cooperates in preventing the war by collecting every Upa from the past and the future. Titor designates the operation name as “Operation Fortuna,” and states that the operation will begin on July 28 at 11:00 AM (likely JST) and will last for one week.

What gives these tweets credibility is the fact that they were retweeted by the official Science Adventure Twitter account. Most likely, these tweets are meant to serve as build-up for some kind of announcement or reveal of information, but the scope and importance are not currently known.

The second and latest teaser is this tweet from the official SciADV Twitter account, which was posted to celebrate the passing of ten years since the beginning of the events of Steins;Gate in 2010. The linked website serves as a short introduction to Steins;Gate and its impact since its release, but it also introduces some new information of interest.

The page confirms that the Hollywood Steins;Gate series is still in production, and it also states that the Steins Gate worldline is connected to Anonymous;Code, the latest upcoming Science Adventure title. In its final statement, the page states that the story of Steins;Gate has not ended, and it will continue now and into the future.

Finally, the page’s URL is itself of note: the phrase “sg10thresistance” appears, which has not been used previously in tenth anniversary marketing. The significance of this phrase is not yet known, but hopefully we will be receiving more answers soon.
