Via UDON Entertainment, the previously announced English localizations of the Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0 manga series have received a flurry of news—release dates, preview images, and new details on art and goodies exclusive to the book retailer Barnes & Noble are now available.
For reader convenience, the new information provided for the two series will be divided into two sections below.
Steins;Gate: The Complete Manga
The previously revealed reprint of the original Steins;Gate manga has finally taken form: UDON Entertainment intends to reprint all three volumes of the previously sold-out series in a single, 500-page-plus omnibus edition. In addition, this new release will see an improved translation thanks to the oversight of one of the Steins;Gate visual novel’s translators, Andrew “Steiner” Hodgson.
UDON Entertainment has unveiled two versions of this release: the deluxe Hardcover Edition, and the standard Softcover Edition. The Hardcover Edition, exclusive to bookseller Barnes & Noble, will release on October 21, 2021. This release will feature hardcover binding, alternate cover art by artist Yomi Sarachi, and an exclusive fold-out poster of Kurisu. The Softcover Edition is expected to release in Spring 2022, available at other retailers.
It’s been quite some time since the original manga was last in print, which meant that until now, it was difficult to collect the entire series at a reasonable price. It’s great to see that UDON Entertainment has acknowledged the need for a rerelease—good news for Steins;Gate fans and collectors alike!

Steins;Gate 0
Steins;Gate 0, too, has received its own fair share of news. Volume 1 of the series will launch on September 21, 2021; Volume 2 will launch on November 16, 2021; lastly, Volume 3 will launch on January 4, 2022. Each English volume will collect two of the original Japanese volumes in a single book, weighing in at over 400 pages each. Hodgson is once again at the helm, this time contributing as the main translator for this series.
In addition to the previously provided standard edition covers, new cover artwork exclusive to Barnes & Noble has also been revealed. As of now, we know that Suzuha and Maho will appear on the exclusive covers for volumes 1 and 2 respectively.
Last but not least, UDON Entertainment has provided preview images for Steins;Gate 0 Volume 1, which we have attached below.
