Steins;Gate orchestra concert expands to Nagoya, merchandise revealed

Following its initial announcement earlier this year, Steins;Gate: A Symphony of Causality’s Melodies has received a wave of new details, offering a clearer picture of what fans can expect from the franchise’s first full-scale orchestra concert.

The event is scheduled to take place on May 31, 2026 at Mori no Hall 21 in Matsudo, featuring orchestral arrangements of music from across the Steins;Gate series.

Since then, the scope of the project has expanded, with a second performance now confirmed for Nagoya on July 5, 2026. Rather than serving as a simple repeat, the Nagoya concert will feature a reworked program that combines material from both the α and β performances while also introducing tracks not included in the original Matsudo shows. This positions the additional date as a distinct experience rather than a repeat of the same event.

The Nagoya performance is also being handled through its own ticketing rollout, including a separate lottery window, underscoring its status as an independent leg of the concert series rather than an extension.

At the same time, official merchandise for the event have been fully detailed. Fans purchasing concert goods will receive a random clear poster for every ¥5,000 spent, with eight different designs available. The campaign applies to pre-orders, on-site purchases, and even post-event sales, though purchase totals cannot be combined between different methods.

Pre-ordered items will be available for pickup at the venue on the day of the concert, between 11:00 and 18:00, with distribution handled on-site rather than via direct shipping for this option. The bonus campaign will also extend beyond the event itself, ensuring that those unable to attend in person are not excluded from the promotion.

Newly released promotional illustrations further reinforce the concert’s presentation, depicting members of the Future Gadget Laboratory in formal attire to match the orchestral theme.

Taken together, these updates suggest a steadily growing production. What was initially presented as a single commemorative concert has now expanded into a multi-city project with variations in its musical program, and coordinated merchandise campaigns.

With Steins;Gate Re:Boot planned for late 2026 and the franchise continuing to build momentum, events like this have historically served as opportunities for announcements. While nothing has been confirmed, the timing alone will likely keep expectations high among fans.

We will continue to follow the event as further details are revealed.
