Akihabara Radio Kaikan has launched a new summer collaboration with Steins;Gate RE:BOOT. which will run from July 20 until August 31, 2026. Throughout the campaign, the building will be decorated with characters and artwork from the upcoming game.
The collaboration began on July 20 with a special ceremony celebrating the 12th anniversary of the renewed Akihabara Radio Kaikan building. The event was held on the building’s rooftop and featured Haruko Momoi, the voice of Faris NyanNyan, as a special guest.

Following the ceremony, the Science Adventure series’ official account thanked the many visitors who attended and shared photographs from the event. The celebration also included Radio Kaikan’s traditional rooftop balloon release, which the account described as an annual summer sight. Momoi’s staff similarly thanked attendees and described the balloon release from the Radio Kaikan rooftop as a wonderful scene.
Additional activities are planned for the end of August. A special Steins;Gate RE:BOOT event commemorating the game’s release will be held in the first-floor entrance space of Akihabara Radio Kaikan on August 29 and 30. The announcement has not yet revealed further details about what the event will include.
A lottery campaign will also give visitors the opportunity to win Steins;Gate RE:BOOT merchandise and other prizes. Customers will receive one lottery entry for every ¥3,000 spent using qualifying receipts, with receipts from different stores permitted to be combined. Lottery tickets will be distributed from August 21 through August 30.
