Today we’re excited to launch KKB Community, a brand new way to participate in discussions across Kiri Kiri Basara.
Until now, KKB has always been a place to read the latest Science Adventure news, reviews and guides. With KKB Community, you can now create your own account, join discussions beneath articles, customise your profile, and become part of the growing community around the website.
Whether you’re here to discuss the latest Steins;Gate announcement, ask for help with a guide, or simply share your thoughts on an article, KKB Community is built to make those conversations feel like a natural part of the website.
Creating Your Account
Getting started only takes a minute. Simply visit the Register page and choose:
- a public username
- your email address
- a secure password
After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Once you’ve verified your email address, your account is ready to use. Your email address is never shown publicly, other users will only see your username, profile picture, and any badges you’ve earned.
If you’re an active paid Patreon supporter, KKB Community can automatically display a Patron badge next to your username.
To make this work, simply register using the same email address connected to your Patreon membership. Patreon badges are synchronised automatically, so they may take up to an hour to appear after registering.
Customise Your Profile
Once you’ve signed in, head over to your Account page.
From there you can:
- upload a profile picture
- replace or remove your picture at any time
- change your password
- sign out of your account
- permanently delete your account if you ever choose to leave
Your profile picture will automatically appear next to all of your comments throughout the website.
Joining Discussions
Every article with comments enabled now includes a discussion section beneath the article. Simply write your comment and publish it.
You can also:
- reply to other community members
- create threaded conversations
- continue existing discussions
- return later to continue where you left off
We hope this becomes a place where readers can discuss the latest news, share theories, recommend games to newcomers, or simply chat with fellow Science Adventure fans.
Using Spoiler Tags
Many Science Adventure games are story-driven, so avoiding spoilers is important. When writing a comment, you’ll have the option to mark it as containing spoilers.
Spoiler comments are hidden by default behind a warning, allowing other readers to decide whether they want to reveal the contents. It’s a simple feature, but one we hope makes discussing visual novels much more comfortable for everyone.
This Is Only the Beginning
KKB Community Version 1.0 is the start of something we’ve wanted to build for a long time. The successful closed beta with our Patreon supporters gave us a lot of valuable feedback, and we’d like to thank everyone who helped test the platform before today’s launch.
We’re already collecting ideas for future improvements, so if you have suggestions or feedback after using KKB Community, we’d love to hear them. Thank you for being part of Kiri Kiri Basara.
We hope you’ll create an account, join the discussions, and help us build a welcoming community for Science Adventure fans around the world.
