Steins;Gate alarm clock app to receive physical merchandise, acquirable via online lottery

Longtime readers may remember when MAGES. and D-techno released a Kurisu Makise-themed alarm clock app back in September 2018; as of July 14, new merchandise based on the app’s artwork has been revealed, and it will be available to residents of Japan for acquisition via an online lottery system.

The lottery is expected to begin on July 28 via D-techno’s online lottery website, web-kuji.jp. Interested players that reside in Japan will be able to participate beginning July 28, all the way up until September 14. However, international audiences will notably be unable to participate, as Web Kuji is region-locked to Japan.

Among the available prizes are themed pins, miniature shikishis, acrylic keychains, acrylic stands, wall tapestries, and a themed pillowcase serving as the grand prize.

Each ticket used to participate (690 yen each) will guarantee the participant one prize out of the pool, though the likelihood of winning a specific prize will vary—the most easily-won prizes will be the themed pins (38% likelihood), while the themed pillowcase will be the most difficult prize to win (1% likelihood). Players who purchase five tickets in one order will additionally receive a complimentary themed drink coaster. All prizes are expected to ship in mid-November 2021.

Finally, all individuals who participate in this event will be automatically entered into a raffle for a wall tapestry depicting Kurisu in a wedding dress. The number of entries one will have in this raffle will directly correlate with the number of tickets one buys for use in the regular lottery system.

More details on this event, including sizes and other prize specifications, can be found on its official website.
