Revealed today via Twitter, a special pop-up event celebrating Steins;Gate’s fifteenth anniversary will be held at Don Quijote’s Akihabara branch in Japan.
The event, termed an “homage collaboration,” will officially begin on July 28, also known as Steins;Gate day. A replica of the iconic satellite and key frames from the story will be on display for visitors to appreciate, and a special message from Kurisu Makise voice actress Asami Imai will be broadcast in-store during the event period.
Moreover, limited-time merchandise will be on sale. Featuring illustrations from popular guest illustrators like lack, SWAV, and Shirabii, the goods on sale are expected to include acrylic stands and keychains, T-shirts, skateboards, and more. Those who are unable to visit the physical pop-up location will be able to acquire merchandise through the online shop.
