It’s been over a year since the SciADV Fan Showcase series began, and needless to say, it’s been impressive to see just how much love, support, and fan work the SciADV community has contributed over the last year! We hope that in continuing to run this article series, we’ve also helped expose you folks, the readers, to the seemingly endless amount of fan work that talented fans put together on a daily basis.

This month, we’ve decided to do things a little differently; we looked back at our previous fan showcase articles and found three previously featured fans that are not only extremely talented, but have also dedicated themselves to continuing to create SciADV fan work even after being featured. This month’s article will focus on these creators’ work after being previously featured. If you enjoy any of the art that you see in this article, please do the creator(s) a favor and follow their social media to see more in the future—they deserve it!

Last month’s fan showcase article can be found here. Without any further ado, let’s get into it!

BlueRainbow101 – Chaos;Head and Chaos;Child art

BlueRainbow101 is back at it with their unique art style, the kind that we doubt anyone would hesitate to call adorable.

Not only is each character beautifully and carefully rendered in great detail, but the artist also does an awesome job of capturing each character’s personality through their expressions and poses. One can almost feel the irritation emanating from Sena in her illustration, or the nervousness from Takumi as he tries to imitate Rimi’s signature salute.

Our initial article featuring BlueRainbow101 can be found here, and BlueRainbow101’s Tumblr page can be found here. If you haven’t already, go check out their other amazing works of art!

Psychi_ – 3D Chaos;Child art

Note: Twitter links 3 and 4 contain spoilers for Chaos;Child.

Though the Chaos;Child visual novel presents itself with a 2D artstyle, Psychi_ goes above and beyond with their work, choosing to design their own 3D models for the game’s characters in order to create art that is painstakingly crafted and charming to look at.

In particular, Psychi_’s renditions of the game’s different endings are commendable, in that they do a great job of conveying the the routes’ relevant themes. Our favorite was definitely the “Real Sky End” piece, as it does an awesome job of repurposing an official Chaos;Child illustration to fit a different pair of characters.

Our initial article featuring Psychi_ can be found here. Psychi_’s Twitter account can be found here. Be sure to check out their other 3D art as well!

Angelmewkaro – Art for various SciADV titles

Note: Twitter link 4 contains spoilers for Robotics;Notes. Twitter link 5 contains spoilers for Robotics;Notes and Chaos;Head. Twitter link 6 contains spoilers for Robotics;Notes.

Dedication is the best motivation, and Angelmewkaro is undoubtedly both dedicated and motivated when it comes to SciADV art. Not only do they have a distinctly unique art style, but they also tend to favor drawing characters from the series that are less popular or are not drawn as often—by no means is this a bad thing, it’s great to see those characters get the spotlight.

We especially liked Angelmewkaro’s “Stardust handshake” piece, which depicts Airi re-enacting an iconic pose of Mayuri’s. It’s not a connection that one would typically make, but it’s certainly a welcome one. Airi has a beautiful, angelic aura to her, and the stars she’s reaching for are faint, yet distinctly divine.

Our initial article featuring Angelmewkaro can be found here. Their portfolio contains spoilers for the SciADV series, but if that doesn’t bother you, Angelmewkaro’s Twitter account can be found here. Definitely take a look at the rest of their work, there’s quite a bit that we wanted to feature but didn’t have space for!

That’ll be it for today’s fan showcase! Thanks for stopping by, and tune in next month for more featured fan goodness!
